I find peace, clarity and calm in nature. I have training in nature-coaching, permaculture design, herbalism, and a little over a decade of experience in both raising kids with sensitive tummies and supporting nonprofit organizations. The last four years I’ve been on an adventure of self-directed learning alongside my two children in lieu of traditional classrooms and schedules.
This blog is an invitation to join me in exploring a variety of interests – especially home-learning, homesteading, DIY projects that support clean-living, and ways to care for ourselves, our partners, our kids and our communities. Here we will do things like walk through slippery creeks barefoot, develop our relationship with good health and the food we eat, notice the plants and animals living around us, sit in the warmth of a fire, or just reflect on who and what matters most to us, our shared world, and the generations who will follow us.
